Fall 2017 Seminar

The Q Group Fall 2017 Seminar will be held over Sunday, October 15 – Wednesday, October 18 at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, BC. With over 10 hours of presentations and commentary, the 2017 fall seminar will continue Q’s 50-year tradition of offering high-quality presentations on the latest innovative investment research by both academics and practitioners in a forum that promotes critical dialogue and meaningful interaction.

Registration and hotel details will be available in early summer.

Registration Information

Q Group Members
Q Group member firms may send one (1) company representative to the spring and fall seminars as part of their membership.

Q Group Member Second Seats
Q Group member firms may send an additional company representative to a seminar for a $3,250 fee.

Q Group Guests
Firms who are considering joining the Q Group may send one (1) company representative to a seminar as Q’s guest on a complimentary basis.

Second Time Attendees
Firms who have sent a company representative to a seminar and are returning for a second time are asked to pay a $3,250 registration fee. Second time attendees will be considered for membership and voted on at the seminar.

Spouses / Companions / Children
Spouses, companions and children are encouraged to attend seminars. Spouses and companions will be charged a $150.00 fee to participate in all meal and social functions. Children under 18 may attend for free.

Seminar Information

Airport Transportation
The closest airport to Fairmont Pacific Rim is Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Vancouver International Airport is located approximately 9 miles (14.4 km) from the hotel (30 minute drive).

Seminar Materials
All seminar materials should be downloaded from the Q Website (qgroup.org) prior to the seminar. No printed copies of slides or other materials will be provided at the meeting.

Dress Code
Business casual is suggested. For our Monday night reception and keynote dinner, we request slightly more formal attire: men should wear a jacket and tie and women should dress accordingly.
