Qualified firms that are interested in becoming sponsor members should request an information packet from the Membership Director. This packet includes an application which, upon submission, is forwarded to the Membership Committee for review. When Sponsor seats become available, the Committee screens applications for membership and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Board then reviews the Membership Committee actions and submits a list of candidates to be voted on by the Sponsors at the next business meeting of the Institute.
To maintain close interaction at the semi-annual meetings, the Sponsors of the Institute have continued the policy of limiting the number of seats at a seminar. This policy also limits the number of new Sponsor organizations admitted into the Institute. From time to time, the Sponsors have voted to increase the overall number of memberships in the Institute.
