Spring 2019 Seminar

The Q Group Spring 2019 Seminar will be held Sunday, April 14 to Wednesday, April 17 at Belmond Charleston Place in Charleston, SC. With over 10 hours of presentations and commentary, the seminar will continue Q’s 50-year tradition of offering high-quality presentations on the latest innovative investment research by both academics and practitioners in a forum that promotes critical dialogue and meaningful interaction. Q Group Seminars are open to members of the organization and invited guests only. Belmond Charleston Place is a 20-minute drive from the Charleston International Airport (CHS).

Seminar Materials
All seminar materials should be downloaded from the Q website (www.q-group.org) prior to the seminar. No printed copies of slides or other materials will be provided at the meeting.

Dress Code
Business casual is suggested. For our Monday night reception and keynote dinner, we request slightly more formal attire: men should wear a jacket and tie and women should dress accordingly.

Registration Information

Q Group Members
Depending on their membership level, Q Group member firms may send one (1) or two (2) company representatives to the seminar. Members must be current on their annual dues to send a representative.

Q Group Members (Additional Seats)
Q Group member firms may send one or more additional company representatives to the seminar for a fee of $2,800 per person. Members must be current on their annual dues to send a representative.

Non-Members (1st time attendees)
Firms who are considering joining the Q Group should submit the membership form here. Eligible applicants will be invited to send one (1) company representative to the seminar as Q’s guest on a complimentary basis. Additional seats may be purchased at $2,800 per person.

Candidates (2nd time attendees)
Firms who sent a company representative to the previous seminar and are returning for a second time are asked to pay a $2,800 registration fee per person. Second-time attendees are Candidates who will be considered for membership and voted on at the seminar.

Spouses / Companions / Children
Spouses, companions and children are encouraged to attend seminars. Spouses and companions will be charged a $150.00 fee to participate in all meal and social functions. Children under 18 may attend for free.
